Description
Lulider 10 mg is a topical antifungal cream containing Luliconazole, a potent imidazole derivative. It is primarily used for the treatment of superficial fungal infections such as tinea corporis (ringworm), tinea cruris (jock itch), and interdigital tinea pedis (athlete's foot). Luliconazole works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane, leading to increased cell membrane permeability and ultimately the death of the fungal cell. The cream is typically applied once daily to the affected area and surrounding skin for one to two weeks, depending on the specific infection. It is manufactured by Navana Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and is available over-the-counter in Bangladesh. Common side effects are rare but may include mild local skin irritation.
