Indications:
Used in the prevention and treatment of calcium deficiency, rickets, osteomalacia, and to support bone health in growing children and adults.
Pharmacology:
Each tablet contains elemental calcium (250mg) in a chewable form, promoting easy absorption. Calcium plays a vital role in neuromuscular function, blood coagulation, and the structural integrity of bone and teeth.
Dosage & Administration:

Children: 1 tablet daily or as directed by the physician.

Adults: 1–2 tablets daily or as advised.

Chew thoroughly before swallowing.
Interaction:
Calcium may interact with certain antibiotics (like tetracyclines), bisphosphonates, and thyroid hormones. Maintain a time gap of 2 hours before or after taking these medications.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, and severe renal impairment.
Side Effects:
Generally well-tolerated. Occasionally may cause constipation, flatulence, or stomach upset.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Can be used during pregnancy and lactation under medical supervision to fulfill increased calcium demand.
Precautions & Warnings:
Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Patients with kidney disorders should consult a physician before use. Monitor calcium levels in long-term use.
