Indications:
CALCOR DX is indicated for:

Calcium and vitamin D deficiency

Osteoporosis and osteomalacia

Rickets in children

Postmenopausal women with bone loss

Pregnancy and lactation for increased calcium demand

Elderly patients prone to bone fracture
Pharmacology:
Calcium Carbonate is a rich source of elemental calcium, essential for bone formation, nerve impulse transmission, and muscle contraction.
Vitamin D₃ (Cholecalciferol) enhances intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphorus, ensures mineralization of bone, and regulates calcium levels in the blood.
The combination helps in maintaining healthy bone mass and reduces fracture risk.
Dosage:
Adults: 1 tablet once or twice daily after meals or as directed by the physician
Children/Elderly: As prescribed by the physician
Dosage may vary based on dietary calcium intake and individual needs
Administration:
Take with or just after meals
Swallow whole with water
Avoid taking with iron, magnesium, or high-fiber meals at the same time
Interaction:

Generally well tolerated. Rare side effects include:

Kidney stones (with long-term high-dose use)
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding when taken under medical supervision
