Indications:
CARMELUS is indicated for:

Prevention and treatment of kidney stones (uric acid or calcium oxalate stones)

Pharmacology:
Potassium citrate is metabolized to bicarbonate, which helps increase urinary pH, making urine more alkaline. This environment reduces the formation of certain types of kidney stones, especially uric acid and cystine stones. It also increases the solubility of calcium in urine, reducing calcium stone formation.
Dosage:

Adults: 10–15 ml 2 to 3 times daily, diluted in water

Children: As prescribed by the physician
