Indications:
MAGMIL 200ML Suspension is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with hyperacidity such as heartburn, acid indigestion, sour stomach, and gastritis.
Pharmacology:
Contains magnesium hydroxide and other antacid components that neutralize gastric acid, increasing stomach pH and reducing irritation of the gastrointestinal mucosa.
Dosage:
Adults and children over 12 years: 5–10 ml orally, 2–4 times daily or as directed by the physician.
Administration:
Shake well before use. Measure dose with a proper measuring device. Take after meals and at bedtime for best effect.
Interaction:
May interfere with the absorption of other medications such as tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, and iron supplements. Separate dosing times by at least 2 hours.
Contraindications:
Patients with severe renal impairment or known hypersensitivity to magnesium compounds should avoid use.
Side Effects:
May cause mild diarrhea or, rarely, hypermagnesemia in patients with renal dysfunction.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Generally considered safe during pregnancy and lactation when used as directed.
Precautions & Warnings:
