Indications:

Pharmacology:
Cetirizine is a selective H1 receptor antagonist that blocks histamine action, reducing allergic symptoms.
Dosage:
Typically, 10 mg once daily for adults and children above 6 years.
Administration:
Oral administration with or without food.
Interaction:
May interact with CNS depressants, alcohol, and other antihistamines.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to cetirizine or hydroxyzine.
Side Effects:
Common: drowsiness, dry mouth, headache. Rare: allergic reactions.
