MONFAST ODT 5 MG is primarily indicated for the treatment of allergic conditions such as seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis (hay fever), urticaria (hives), and other allergic skin conditions. It helps alleviate symptoms like itching, sneezing, runny nose, and swelling caused by allergens.
Pharmacology:
MONFAST ODT 5 MG contains the active ingredient Moxifloxacin, a potent second-generation antihistamine. It works by blocking histamine receptors (H1 receptors) in the body, preventing the release of histamine, a substance responsible for allergy symptoms like itching, swelling, and sneezing. By inhibiting histamine activity, this medication provides relief from the inflammatory and allergic symptoms associated with hay fever, rhinitis, and hives.
Dosage:

The typical dosage for adults and children over 12 years is 5 mg once daily.

Contraindications:
