This vaccine offers quadrivalent protection, which means it covers four different influenza strains, providing more comprehensive coverage compared to earlier vaccines that only covered two or three strains.
Pharmacology:
VAXIGRIP TETRA 0.5 ML contains inactivated viruses from four different strains of the influenza virus. The vaccine works by stimulating the body's immune system to produce antibodies against the influenza viruses included in the vaccine. These antibodies help the body recognize and fight off the influenza viruses if it encounters them in the future.
