Indications:
Erdostin 300mg is indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases associated with excessive or thick mucus such as chronic bronchitis, COPD, and sinusitis.
Pharmacology:
Erdosteine is a mucolytic agent that breaks disulfide bonds in mucus glycoproteins, reducing mucus viscosity and facilitating easier expectoration.
Dosage:
Typically, 300mg twice daily, but dose and duration depend on clinical condition and physician’s advice.
Administration:
Oral administration with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water.
Interaction:
Minimal known drug interactions, but caution advised when combined with other mucolytics or respiratory drugs.
