Indications:
V3N tablet is indicated for prevention and treatment of Vitamin B3 deficiency, pellagra, hyperlipidemia, and support in certain neurological disorders.
Pharmacology:
Niacin (Vitamin B3) is a water-soluble vitamin involved in energy metabolism, DNA repair, and skin maintenance. It plays a role in lowering cholesterol and triglyceride levels by inhibiting hepatic synthesis.
Dosage:
Adults: Typically 50–100 mg daily or as prescribed by physician depending on deficiency or therapeutic need.
Administration:
Take orally with food to reduce flushing and gastrointestinal discomfort.
Interaction:
May interact with cholesterol-lowering drugs, alcohol, and blood pressure medications. Monitor liver function during high-dose therapy.
Contraindications:
