Indications:
TRILEPTAL 60 MG/ML suspension is indicated for treatment of partial seizures and epilepsy in adults and pediatric patients.
Pharmacology:
Contains oxcarbazepine, which blocks voltage-gated sodium channels, stabilizing neuronal membranes and reducing seizure activity.
Dosage:
Dosage is adjusted according to patient's weight and clinical response. Follow the physician’s prescription carefully.
Administration:
Shake well before use. Take orally with or without food using a proper measuring device.
Interaction:
May interact with other anticonvulsants, oral contraceptives, diuretics, and certain antibiotics. Inform your doctor about all medications.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to oxcarbazepine or its components.
Side Effects:
Possible side effects include dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, rash, and allergic reactions.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use during pregnancy and lactation only if clearly needed and prescribed by a doctor.
