Description
Aclitol 400 mcg + 12 mcg Inhalation Capsule is a combination medication used for the maintenance treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). It contains two active ingredients: Aclidinium Bromide (400 mcg), a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) that helps relax the muscles in the lungs and open the airways, and Formoterol Fumarate (12 mcg), a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA) that also works to open the airways by relaxing the muscles surrounding the air passages. This combination therapy is intended for regular use to improve lung function, reduce symptoms, and prevent flare-ups. It is important to note that Aclitol is not designed to relieve acute or sudden breathing problems, and patients should use a separate short-acting bronchodilator for immediate relief. The medication is delivered via inhalation using a revolizer device, and it should be used twice daily as prescribed.
