Indications:
Montene 10 mg is indicated for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and other cardiovascular conditions such as angina pectoris.
Pharmacology:
Montene contains Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker that works by relaxing the blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily, which lowers blood pressure and reduces the heart's workload.
Dosage:
The usual adult dose is 10 mg once daily. Dosage may vary based on the patient's condition and doctor's prescription.
Administration:
Take Montene 10 mg orally with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
Interaction:
May interact with other blood pressure medications, certain antifungals, and grapefruit juice. Always inform your doctor about all medicines you take.
Contraindications:
Not recommended for patients with severe hypotension, cardiogenic shock, or known allergy to Amlodipine.
Side Effects:
