Tryptin 10 mg is indicated for:
Treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) symptoms
Improvement of urinary flow and reduction of urinary retention
Relief of lower urinary tract symptoms associated with BPH
Tamsulosin is a selective alpha-1 adrenergic receptor antagonist that relaxes smooth muscles in the bladder neck and prostate, thereby reducing obstruction and improving urine flow.
As prescribed by a registered physician.
Typical dose: 10 mg once daily after the same meal each day.
Take orally with water, preferably after the same meal daily for consistent absorption.
May interact with other alpha-blockers, antihypertensives, and PDE5 inhibitors
Caution with drugs metabolized by CYP3A4 and CYP2D6 enzymes
Avoid sudden discontinuation to prevent symptom recurrence
Hypersensitivity to Tamsulosin or related drugs
Severe liver impairment
Use in women and children is not recommended
Common: Dizziness, headache, nasal congestion, abnormal ejaculation
Less common: Orthostatic hypotension, fatigue
Rare: Allergic reactions, priapism
Not indicated for use in women; safety during pregnancy and lactation not established.
Use with caution in patients with hypotension or volume depletion
Monitor blood pressure regularly
Caution when driving or operating machinery due to dizziness risk
