Filfresh 3 mg is indicated for:
Short-term treatment of primary insomnia
Jet lag and circadian rhythm sleep disorders
Shift work-related sleep problems
Improving overall sleep quality in adults and elderly
Melatonin is a naturally occurring hormone secreted by the pineal gland. It regulates the body’s circadian rhythm and sleep–wake cycle. Supplemental melatonin aids in initiating and improving sleep by mimicking the body’s natural hormone pattern.
As prescribed by a registered physician.
Typical dose: 3–5 mg taken 30 to 60 minutes before bedtime.
For jet lag: 3 mg on the day of travel and for a few days after arrival.
Take orally with water, 30–60 minutes before going to bed. For best results, avoid light exposure and screen time after taking the tablet.
May interact with CNS depressants (e.g., benzodiazepines, alcohol)
May alter the effect of anticoagulants, antidiabetics, and contraceptives
Use cautiously with immunosuppressive therapy
Hypersensitivity to Melatonin
Autoimmune diseases
Severe liver disease
Common: Drowsiness, dizziness, headache, nausea
Less common: Vivid dreams, mood swings, irritability
Rare: Allergic reaction, hormonal disturbances
Not recommended unless clearly needed and prescribed. Safety data during pregnancy and lactation is limited.
Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery after taking
