Avaspray 27.5 mcg/spray Nasal Spray is a medication manufactured by Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd. It contains the active ingredient Fluticasone Furoate, a potent corticosteroid known for its anti-inflammatory properties. This nasal spray is primarily used to treat symptoms of allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and non-allergic rhinitis in adults and children over 12 years. The spray works by reducing inflammation in the nasal passages, effectively relieving symptoms like nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and itching.
Each spray delivers 27.5 mcg of Fluticasone Furoate. For adults and children over 12 years, the typical starting dose is two sprays into each nostril once daily. Once symptoms are controlled, the dose can be reduced to one spray into each nostril per day. Children under 12 years should use this product only under medical supervision.
Avaspray should be shaken well before each use.
