Indications:
Ace 500 mg Tablet is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of:

Fever (any origin)
-
Mild to moderate pain: headache, muscle pain, dental pain, backache, joint pain, menstrual pain
-
Post-vaccination fever or pain
Pharmacology:
Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) is a centrally acting antipyretic and analgesic. It inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the CNS, especially in the hypothalamic heat-regulating center, thereby reducing fever and pain. It has minimal anti-inflammatory properties.
Dosage & Administration:

Adults and children over 12 years: 500–1000 mg every 4–6 hours as needed.

Maximum dose: 4 grams (4000 mg) per day.

Should be taken with water, with or without food.
Interaction:
-
May increase the effect of warfarin with prolonged use.

Concurrent use with alcohol or hepatotoxic drugs may increase liver damage risk.
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Paracetamol

Severe liver disease or hepatic failure
Side Effects:
Usually well tolerated. Rare effects may include:

Allergic skin reactions (rash, itching)

Hepatotoxicity in overdose

Blood dyscrasias (rare)
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Paracetamol is considered safe during pregnancy and lactation when used in recommended doses.
Precautions & Warnings:

Avoid alcohol during therapy.

Do not exceed the maximum daily dose.

Caution in patients with liver or kidney disease.
