Cranbiotic 400 mg Capsule is a dietary supplement produced by Radiant Pharmaceuticals Ltd., containing 400 mg of cranberry extract (Vaccinium macrocarpon). It is primarily indicated for the treatment and prevention of urinary tract infections (UTIs) and kidney stones. Cranberry extract works by inhibiting the adhesion of bacteria, particularly Escherichia coli, to the lining of the urinary tract, thereby reducing the risk of infection. Additionally, at higher doses, cranberry exhibits urinary antiseptic properties and may help reduce the incidence of kidney stone formation. The recommended dosage is 1–3 capsules daily or as advised by a physician. Cranbiotic is generally well-tolerated; however, high doses may occasionally cause mild gastrointestinal discomfort or diarrhea. It is contraindicated in individuals with renal insufficiency or those predisposed to uric acid or calcium oxalate stones.
