Rofuclav 70 ml Oral Suspension is a liquid antibiotic formulation manufactured by Radiant Pharmaceuticals Ltd., combining two active ingredients: Cefuroxime Axetil and Clavulanic Acid. Cefuroxime Axetil is a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial cell death. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects cefuroxime from degradation by beta-lactamase-producing bacteria, thereby enhancing its efficacy.
