Description
Curnoid 500 mg Tablet is a herbal supplement produced by Radiant Nutraceuticals Ltd., containing 500 mg of curcuminoids extracted from Curcuma longa (turmeric). Curcuminoids are renowned for their potent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial, and choleretic properties. This supplement is primarily indicated for conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, traumatic swelling and pain, dental plaque, and cancer-associated pain or inflammation. The active compounds in curcuminoids work by downregulating the expression of various pro-inflammatory cytokines and enzymes, including COX-2, TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-1RN, and IL-6, thereby inhibiting prostaglandin formation and reducing inflammation . The recommended dosage is one to two tablets daily after meals, or as directed by a physician. Curnoid is generally well-tolerated; however, occasional gastrointestinal disturbances may occur with overdose. It is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to curcuminoids and in cases of bile duct obstruction. Patients with gallstones should consult a physician before use.
