Indications:
LEXOTANIL is indicated for:

Anxiety disorders

Tension and agitation
-
Panic attacks
-
Muscle relaxation in certain neurological disorders
Pharmacology:
Bromazepam is a benzodiazepine that enhances the effect of the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA in the central nervous system, producing sedative, anxiolytic, muscle relaxant, and anticonvulsant effects.
Dosage & Administration:

Adults: Usually 3–6 mg per day, divided into 2 or 3 doses.

Dose adjustment based on clinical response and tolerance.

Avoid abrupt discontinuation to prevent withdrawal symptoms.
Interaction:

Additive CNS depressant effects with alcohol, opioids, barbiturates, and other sedatives.

Caution with other psychotropic drugs.
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Bromazepam or benzodiazepines

Severe respiratory insufficiency

Sleep apnea syndrome

Myasthenia gravis
Side Effects:

Drowsiness, fatigue, dizziness

Confusion, ataxia

Dependence and withdrawal symptoms with prolonged use
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to potential risks to the fetus and infant.
Precautions & Warnings:

Use lowest effective dose for shortest duration

Monitor for signs of dependence or abuse

Avoid operating machinery or driving until effects are known
