Description
Prompton 20 mg is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) manufactured by Radiant Pharmaceuticals Ltd., containing Rabeprazole Sodium 20 mg per enteric-coated capsule. It works by inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme in the stomach lining, effectively reducing gastric acid secretion. Prompton is indicated for the treatment of conditions such as active duodenal and benign gastric ulcers, erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), long-term GERD management, symptomatic GERD, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and as part of a combination therapy for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori in peptic ulcer disease
