Description
Vono 20 mg contains Domperidone, an antiemetic and prokinetic agent used primarily to treat gastrointestinal conditions such as nausea, vomiting, bloating, and delayed gastric emptying (gastroparesis). At a higher dose of 20 mg, it provides enhanced relief in more severe cases of gastric discomfort or persistent nausea. Domperidone works by blocking dopamine receptors in the gut and the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ) in the brain, which helps normalize stomach motility and reduce sensations of nausea. Vono 20 mg should be taken under medical supervision, as higher doses increase the risk of potential side effects, especially related to the heart (e.g., QT prolongation). It is generally taken before meals for best effect.
