Description
Inmit 10 mg + 10 mg Tablet is a delayed-release combination medication manufactured by Radiant Pharmaceuticals Ltd., containing Doxylamine Succinate and Pyridoxine Hydrochloride. Doxylamine Succinate is an antihistamine that blocks H1 receptors in the brain and vestibular system, reducing nausea and vomiting. Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) is used to prevent nausea and vomiting due to its antiemetic properties. This combination is indicated for the treatment of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy in women who do not respond to conservative management. The recommended dosage starts with one tablet at bedtime on the first day. If symptoms persist, the dose may be increased to one tablet in the morning and one at bedtime. The maximum recommended dose is two tablets per day. It is important to take the tablet on an empty stomach with a glass of water, swallowing it whole without crushing, chewing, or splitting. Common side effects may include somnolence or other central nervous system effects. Use is contraindicated in women taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and those with known hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation. Caution is advised when using this medication with alcohol or other CNS depressants.
