Radiflex® 40 mg is a nutraceutical supplement manufactured by Radiant Pharmaceuticals Ltd., formulated with undenatured Type II collagen derived from chicken sternum cartilage. This collagen is produced using a patented low-temperature, non-enzymatic process that preserves its natural triple helix structure and biological activity. The unique mechanism of action involves oral tolerization, where active epitopes in the collagen interact with the Peyer's patches in the small intestine, stimulating the production of collagen-specific regulatory T-cells. These T-cells migrate to joint areas, preventing the release of T-cells that cause cartilage breakdown, thereby reducing inflammation and promoting cartilage rebuilding. Radiflex® is indicated for the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, joint pain and inflammation, difficulties in flexibility and mobility, joint discomfort and stiffness, impaired joint function, and issues arising from strenuous exercise and sports. It is generally well-tolerated, with potential side effects including constipation and headache in case of overdose. Contraindications include known hypersensitivity to chicken or egg. The recommended dosage is one capsule daily with water, preferably after a meal, or as directed by a physician. It should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture, and out of reach of children.
