A-Cof Syrup, manufactured by ACME Laboratories Ltd., is a combination medication formulated to provide symptomatic relief from upper respiratory tract disorders associated with the common cold, hay fever (allergic rhinitis), or other upper respiratory allergies. Each 5 ml of the syrup contains:

Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 20 mg – a non-narcotic cough suppressant that acts centrally on the cough center in the brain to reduce the urge to cough.

Adults and children over 12 years: 2 teaspoonfuls (10 ml) three times daily.
