Azin 50 ml is a powder for oral suspension manufactured by ACME Laboratories Ltd., containing Azithromycin Dihydrate as its active ingredient. Upon reconstitution, each 5 ml of the suspension delivers 200 mg of Azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic known for its broad-spectrum activity against various bacterial pathogens.
Azithromycin exerts its antimicrobial effect by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria, thereby inhibiting protein synthesis and halting bacterial growth.
