Description
Dclot 75 mg is an antiplatelet medication manufactured by ACME Laboratories Ltd., containing Clopidogrel Bisulfate. It is primarily used to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in individuals with cardiovascular conditions such as acute coronary syndrome (ACS), recent myocardial infarction (MI), recent stroke, or established peripheral arterial disease. Clopidogrel works by inhibiting platelet aggregation, thereby preventing the formation of blood clots. The typical dosage is 75 mg once daily, with or without food. In certain cases, a loading dose of 300 mg may be administered initially. It's important to note that Dclot should not be used concomitantly with proton pump inhibitors like omeprazole or esomeprazole, as they can reduce the effectiveness of clopidogrel.
