Description
Orbas Plus 20/12.5 mg is a combination antihypertensive medication manufactured by ACME Laboratories Ltd. It combines Olmesartan Medoxomil, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), with Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic. This combination effectively lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and reducing fluid retention.
It is indicated for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and is typically prescribed when monotherapy is insufficient to achieve desired blood pressure control. The usual starting dose is one tablet once daily, which may be adjusted based on the patient's response. Patients with renal impairment (creatinine clearance ≤30 mL/min) should not use this combination. Hepatic impairment does not require dosage adjustment
