Description
manufactured by ACME Laboratories Ltd., is a sterile ophthalmic solution containing 0.5% moxifloxacin hydrochloride and 0.1% dexamethasone sodium phosphate. It is indicated for the treatment of bacterial eye infections and the prevention of inflammation and infection following ocular surgeries such as cataract or LASIK procedures. The recommended dosage involves instilling 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 4 to 6 hours, as directed by a healthcare professional. Common side effects may include conjunctival irritation, increased lacrimation, keratitis, and papillary conjunctivitis. Contraindications include hypersensitivity to moxifloxacin, other quinolones, or any components of the formulation. Precautions should be taken in patients with a history of hypersensitivity reactions to quinolones. Store the medication at room temperature, away from direct light and heat, and use within 28 days after opening
