Betabis Plus 5 mg is a combination tablet containing Bisoprolol Fumarate (5 mg) and Hydrochlorothiazide (6.25 mg), used primarily to manage hypertension (high blood pressure). Bisoprolol is a selective β₁-adrenergic blocker that reduces heart rate and myocardial contractility, thereby lowering blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that helps reduce blood pressure by eliminating excess sodium and water from the body, which decreases blood volume.
