Indications:
Don A is indicated for the treatment of Parkinson's disease and Parkinsonism symptoms.
Pharmacology:
Don A contains Levodopa, a dopamine precursor that crosses the blood-brain barrier and is converted to dopamine, helping to restore neurotransmitter balance.
Dosage & Administration:
Dosage varies; typically started at low doses and gradually increased.
Should be taken with or without food as advised by physician.
Often combined with carbidopa to enhance efficacy and reduce side effects.
Interaction:
May interact with MAO inhibitors, antipsychotics, and other Parkinson’s medications. Monitor therapy closely.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to levodopa or related compounds, narrow-angle glaucoma, and undiagnosed skin lesions.
