Pilestop is a phlebotonic and vascular-protecting agent manufactured by ACME Laboratories Ltd. It combines Micronised Diosmin (450 mg) and Hesperidin (50 mg), both flavonoid compounds known for their beneficial effects on venous circulation.
Indications:
Acute hemorrhoidal attacks
Chronic hemorrhoidal disease
Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI)
Lymphedema
Mechanism of Action:
Pilestop enhances venous tone by prolonging the vasoconstrictor effect of noradrenaline on the vessel wall, reducing venous stasis. It also decreases capillary permeability and increases capillary resistance by inhibiting leukocyte adhesion, migration, and activation. Additionally, it improves lymphatic drainage by increasing lymph flow and oncotic pressure.

Next 3 days: 2 tablets twice daily
Maintenance (if required): 1 tablet twice daily for approximately 2 months
