Indications:
ARIPRAZOLE 10 MG is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia, acute manic and mixed episodes associated with bipolar disorder, and irritability associated with autistic disorder.
Pharmacology:
Aripiprazole is a partial agonist at dopamine D2 and serotonin 5-HT1A receptors and an antagonist at serotonin 5-HT2A receptors. This unique mechanism helps balance neurotransmitters in the brain, improving mood, perception, and behavior.
Dosage:

Typical starting dose is 10 mg once daily.

Dosage may be adjusted based on clinical response, up to 30 mg daily.
Administration:
Take orally once daily, with or without food. Consistent daily timing is recommended.
Interaction:
May interact with other CNS depressants, antihypertensives, CYP3A4 and CYP2D6 inhibitors or inducers. Consult a physician before combining with other medications.
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to aripiprazole or any components of the formulation.

Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular diseases or history of seizures.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, insomnia, anxiety, weight gain, and restlessness.
