Indications:
VIPTIN 50 MG is indicated for the treatment of various seizure disorders including epilepsy and for the management of bipolar disorder to stabilize mood.

Pharmacology:
Valproic acid increases brain levels of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), an inhibitory neurotransmitter, reducing abnormal electrical activity and preventing seizures.

Dosage:
Dosage varies by condition and patient response; typically started at a low dose and gradually increased under medical supervision.

Administration:
Take orally with or without food, preferably at the same time daily. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew unless directed.

Interaction:
May interact with other anticonvulsants, anticoagulants, and CNS depressants. Inform your doctor about all medications.

Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with liver disease, urea cycle disorders, or hypersensitivity to valproic acid.
