Indications:
BOST is indicated for relief of:

Acid indigestion
-
Heartburn
-
Gastric hyperacidity
-
Bloating and flatulence caused by excess stomach acid
Pharmacology:
-
Aluminum hydroxide neutralizes gastric acid, reducing acidity.
-
Magnesium hydroxide also neutralizes acid and acts as a laxative to prevent constipation caused by aluminum.

Simethicone reduces surface tension of gas bubbles, helping to relieve bloating and discomfort from gas.
Dosage:
-
Chew 1 to 2 tablets as needed, typically after meals and at bedtime.

Do not exceed the recommended dose without physician advice.
Administration:

Tablets should be thoroughly chewed before swallowing.

Take with water if desired, but can be taken without water.
Interaction:

May interfere with absorption of some drugs such as tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, and iron supplements if taken simultaneously.

Separate administration times by at least 2 hours.
Contraindications:

Known hypersensitivity to any ingredients

Severe renal impairment (use with caution)

Hypophosphatemia (due to aluminum content)
