Indications:

BONGEL 10 GM is indicated for the relief of:

Musculoskeletal pain associated with osteoarthritis
Sprains, strains, and sports injuries
Soft tissue injuries and inflammation
Back pain and joint pain

Pharmacology:

Diclofenac sodium is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation.

Dosage:

Apply a thin layer of gel to the affected area 2 to 3 times daily.
Massage gently until fully absorbed.
Avoid using on open wounds or broken skin.

Administration:

Clean and dry the affected area before application.
Wash hands after applying the gel.
Do not cover the area with airtight dressings unless advised by a physician.

Interaction:

Minimal systemic absorption reduces the likelihood of interactions.
Caution if used concurrently with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to diclofenac or other NSAIDs
Skin infections or wounds at the application site
History of asthma, urticaria, or allergic reactions triggered by NSAIDs
