Indications:
MULTI SEAS is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with dry eye syndrome, including irritation, burning, and discomfort. It helps restore moisture to the ocular surface and protects against further dryness.
Pharmacology:
The active ingredient, sodium hyaluronate, is a natural polysaccharide with high water-retention capacity. It acts as a lubricant and protects the corneal epithelium by forming a viscoelastic film over the eye surface, improving hydration and healing.
Dosage:
Typically, 1-2 drops in the affected eye(s) up to 4-6 times daily or as directed by the physician.
Administration:
Wash hands before use. Tilt the head back and pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Instill the prescribed number of drops without touching the tip to the eye or any surface. Close eyes gently for 1-2 minutes.
Interaction:
No significant drug interactions are known. However, if using other eye medications, wait at least 5 minutes before applying MULTI SEAS.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation. Avoid use if contamination occurs.
Side Effects:
Generally well tolerated. Occasionally, mild transient burning or stinging sensation may occur.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Considered safe for use during pregnancy and lactation. Consult your doctor if you have concerns.
Therapeutic Class:
Ophthalmic lubricant, artificial tear substitute.
Storage Conditions:
Store at room temperature below 25°C, protect from light. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use. Discard after the expiration date or as per label instructions.
