Indications:
LOTEFLAM 3GM is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory and painful conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, muscle pain, and postoperative pain.

Pharmacology:
Diclofenac Sodium inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis, which decreases inflammation, pain, and fever.

Dosage:
Typical dose: 1-3 grams per day, divided doses, depending on the severity and condition. Exact dosing and duration should be as per physician’s prescription.

Administration:
Usually administered intravenously or intramuscularly. Follow reconstitution and administration instructions carefully.

Interaction:
May interact with anticoagulants, other NSAIDs, corticosteroids, and certain antihypertensive drugs. Inform your healthcare provider about all medications.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to diclofenac or other NSAIDs, active gastrointestinal bleeding, severe heart failure, and during the third trimester of pregnancy.

Side Effects:
