Indications:
INFUD 250 MG is used to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria such as respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia), skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections, and Lyme disease.

Pharmacology:
Cefuroxime Axetil is a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins, leading to bacterial cell death.

Dosage:
Adults: 250 mg twice daily or as directed by the physician. Duration depends on infection severity.
Children: Dose adjusted according to weight and infection type.

Administration:
Oral administration. Take with food to enhance absorption. Swallow whole with water.

Interaction:
May interact with antacids, iron supplements, and oral contraceptives, reducing efficacy. Inform your healthcare provider about all medications.
