Pharmacology:

Glucosamine Sulfate: A natural amino sugar that stimulates the production of glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans, essential components of cartilage. It aids in the repair and maintenance of cartilage and joint function. Approximately 90% of glucosamine is absorbed orally and is metabolized by the liver, excreted through urine.

Diacerein: An anti-inflammatory agent that inhibits the synthesis of Interleukin-1 (IL-1), a cytokine involved in cartilage degradation. It has analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory properties, providing disease-modifying effects in osteoarthritis. Diacerein is extensively metabolized in the liver and excreted through urine.
Dosage:

Adults: One tablet twice daily with food.

Children and Adolescents: Safety and effectiveness have not been established for individuals under 18 years of age.
Administration:
Take one tablet orally twice daily, preferably during or after meals, to enhance absorption and reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.
Interaction:

Diacerein: Absorption may be decreased when taken with aluminum and/or magnesium hydroxide antacids. Concurrent use with laxatives or antibiotics may increase the risk of diarrhea. Avoid co-administration with fibers and phytic acids.

Glucosamine: May reduce the effectiveness of antidiabetic agents and enhance the anticoagulant activity of warfarin.
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Glucosamine, Diacerein, or any component of the formulation.

Pregnancy and lactation.

Children under 18 years of age.
Side Effects:

Common: Diarrhea, constipation, epigastric pain, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, headache, skin rashes, drowsiness, intense yellow coloring of urine.
Pregnancy & Lactation:

Pregnancy: Contraindicated due to insufficient safety data.

Lactation: Not recommended due to lack of data on excretion in breast milk.
