Indications:
UROLOSIN 0.4 MG is prescribed for the management of lower urinary tract symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), improving urine flow and reducing bladder outlet obstruction.

Pharmacology:
Tamsulosin selectively blocks alpha-1 adrenergic receptors in the prostate and bladder neck, causing muscle relaxation and easing urine passage.

Dosage:
Recommended dose is 0.4 mg once daily, taken approximately 30 minutes after the same meal each day. Dosage adjustments are based on patient response.

Administration:
Swallow the capsule whole with water. Do not crush or chew. Take consistently after the same meal daily.

Interaction:
May interact with other blood pressure medications, PDE5 inhibitors, and drugs metabolized by CYP3A4 or CYP2D6 enzymes. Inform your doctor of all medications.

Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to tamsulosin or related compounds.

Side Effects:
Possible side effects include dizziness, headache, abnormal ejaculation, and low blood pressure. Report severe or persistent symptoms.

Pregnancy & Lactation:
Not indicated for use in women. Consult doctor if pregnancy or breastfeeding is a concern.
