Indications:
MIRABEG ER 25 MG is indicated for treatment of overactive bladder symptoms such as urgency, frequency, and urge urinary incontinence.

Pharmacology:
Mirabegron is a selective beta-3 adrenergic receptor agonist that relaxes the detrusor muscle during the bladder filling phase, increasing bladder capacity and reducing symptoms.

Dosage:
The usual starting dose is 25 mg once daily, orally, with possible increase to 50 mg based on clinical response and tolerance.

Administration:
Take the extended-release tablet orally with or without food at the same time each day.

Interaction:
May interact with drugs metabolized by CYP2D6, digoxin, and antihypertensive agents. Inform your healthcare provider of all medications.

Contraindications:
Severe uncontrolled hypertension, hypersensitivity to mirabegron, severe renal or hepatic impairment.

Side Effects:
Common side effects include hypertension, headache, urinary tract infection, nasopharyngitis, and dizziness.
