Description

• রেজিস্টার্ড চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ মোতাবেক ঔষধ সেবন করুন।
GENAGEL 10 GM is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of dry eye syndrome, ocular irritation, and discomfort due to insufficient tear production or environmental factors.

Pharmacology:
GENAGEL 10 GM contains Hypromellose, a semisynthetic, inert, and viscoelastic polymer. It acts as a lubricant and artificial tear, stabilizing and thickening the precorneal tear film, thereby promoting corneal wetting and providing relief from eye dryness and irritation.

Dosage:
Instill 1 or 2 drops into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s) as needed. The frequency of administration depends on the severity of the condition. On average, one drop is administered 1-3 times daily. If needed, GENAGEL 10 GM may be administered more frequently.

Administration:
Before application, wash your hands thoroughly. Tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the dropper above the eye and instill the prescribed number of drops into the conjunctival sac. Close your eye and blink a few times to spread the gel evenly. Avoid touching the tip of the dropper to any surface to prevent contamination.

Interaction:
GENAGEL 10 GM can be used in combination with contact lenses. However, no compatibility study with lens material is available. Always inform your healthcare provider about all medications and eye products you are using.

Contraindications:
GENAGEL 10 GM is contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity to Hypromellose or any other component of the formulation.

Side Effects:
Common side effects include transient blurred vision or a slight stinging sensation upon instillation. Rarely, burning, stinging, allergic reactions, or redness of the eyes may occur. If any adverse effects persist or worsen, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.

Pregnancy & Lactation:
There is no specific data regarding the safety of Hypromellose during pregnancy or lactation. However, due to its inert nature, it is generally considered safe for use. Consult your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Therapeutic Class:
Drugs for Dry Eyes

Storage Conditions:
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not touch the tip of the tube surface, as this may contaminate the gel. After opening, do not use the product beyond the recommended period.
