Indications:
MULTISEAS 300MG is indicated for the prevention and chronic treatment of asthma, and relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis.

Pharmacology:
Montelukast sodium is a selective leukotriene receptor antagonist that blocks substances called leukotrienes, which cause inflammation, bronchoconstriction, and mucus production in asthma and allergies.

Dosage:
Typically, one 300 mg tablet once daily in the evening or as directed by the physician.

Administration:
Take orally with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water.

Interaction:
Montelukast may interact with phenobarbital and rifampicin, which can reduce its effectiveness. Always inform your doctor of all medications.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to montelukast or any component of the formulation.

Side Effects:
Possible side effects include headache, abdominal pain, cough, dizziness, and rarely mood changes. Report any severe or unusual symptoms.
