Indications:
MITRAZINE 30 MG is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder and other mood disorders.

Pharmacology:
Mirtazapine acts by blocking central presynaptic alpha-2 adrenergic inhibitory autoreceptors and heteroreceptors, increasing norepinephrine and serotonin release.

Dosage:
Typical dose ranges from 15 to 45 mg once daily, often starting at 15 mg and increasing to 30 mg or higher as needed, under physician supervision.

Administration:
Take orally at bedtime to minimize daytime sedation and maximize therapeutic effects.

Interaction:
May interact with MAO inhibitors, SSRIs, CNS depressants, alcohol, and other medications. Inform your healthcare provider of all drugs you are taking.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to mirtazapine, use with MAO inhibitors within 14 days, and caution in patients with seizure disorders.

Side Effects:
