Glytear P is indicated for the temporary relief of burning and irritation due to dryness of the eye.
Pharmacology:
Polyethylene Glycol 400 and Propylene Glycol are eye lubricants that provide relief from dryness and irritation by forming a protective layer over the eye surface, reducing friction and preventing further irritation.
Dosage:
Instill 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
Administration:
Wash hands before and after use. Tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid to create a pocket, and instill the prescribed number of drops into the pocket. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes and gently press the corner of the eye near the nose to prevent the solution from draining away.
Interaction:
There are no known significant interactions with other medications. However, consult your healthcare provider before using other eye drops concurrently.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient in this formulation.
Side Effects:
Generally well tolerated. Possible side effects include temporary blurred vision, eye irritation, or discomfort. If these persist or worsen, consult your healthcare provider.

Consult your healthcare provider before use during pregnancy or lactation.
