Artear 5% Eye Drops are formulated to provide relief from dry eye conditions, including keratoconjunctivitis sicca. The active ingredient, Povidone Iodine, acts as a lubricant to alleviate symptoms of burning and irritation due to dryness of the eye. Additionally, it serves as a substitute for tear fluid to stabilize an unstable tear film. The recommended dosage is one drop instilled into the conjunctival sac four times daily or as needed, depending on the severity of the condition.
