Domilux 10 mg is a medication containing domperidone maleate, a dopamine antagonist that primarily acts on the gastrointestinal system. It is commonly used to treat conditions such as nausea, vomiting, non-ulcer dyspepsia, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and gastroparesis. Domilux works by blocking dopamine receptors in the stomach and chemoreceptor trigger zone, enhancing gastric motility and accelerating gastric emptying. This action helps alleviate symptoms like bloating, early satiety, and discomfort associated with delayed gastric emptying. The recommended dosage for adults is 10–20 mg taken 15–30 minutes before meals, up to a maximum of 80 mg per day
