RAMIL 2.5 MG is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and heart failure. It works by lowering blood pressure and helping the heart pump more efficiently, thereby improving heart function.

Pharmacology:
RAMIL contains Ramipril, an ACE (angiotensin-converting enzyme) inhibitor. It works by blocking the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, a powerful vasoconstrictor. This leads to the relaxation of blood vessels, reducing blood pressure and the strain on the heart.

Dosage:
The usual starting dose of RAMIL 2.5 MG is 1 tablet per day, but the dosage may vary depending on individual medical conditions. Always follow your doctor’s prescribed dosage.

Administration:
